Our History

In 1963, John Cannistraro, Sr. set out to achieve his lifelong goal of entrepreneurship with little more than $1,500 and the support of his wife, Rita. Since then, the family-owned plumbing shop he started has grown into Boston’s largest mechanical construction firm with more than 1,000 employees. Today, we’re proud to offer a full-service approach to all of your organization’s mechanical construction and maintenance needs by delivering complete plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection solutions.
